AI code review is not a replacement for human review. But it is excellent at catching things humans miss: typos in error messages, inconsistent naming, missing edge cases in null handling.
My Workflow
- Push to a feature branch
- AI reviews the diff first — catches low-hanging fruit
- Fix what's valid, dismiss what's noise
- Human reviewer focuses on architecture and intent
The key insight: AI is a first pass, not the final word. Treat it like a very thorough linter, not a senior engineer.
